Governor Meetings
Governors attend a number of meetings throughout the school year as part of their leadership role in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the school. There are three meetings of the full Governing Body per year, one each term. In addition there are at least three meetings of each committee per year which are held termly. Other meetings may be held at any time during the year to deal with a specific matter. Governors also make regular visits to school to monitor certain aspects of the school's work to continuously improve provision and outcomes for pupils.
There are two committees to which governors may belong, the Resource Management Committee and the Strategic Direction Committee. Terms of reference for these committees may be found below.
