Inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

All pupils, irrespective of gender, academic ability, physical abilities, social, religious or cultural background, are given the same access to the curriculum and the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Children with Special Educational Needs are identified early through observation and assessment and are given focused work and targeted support and guidance based on close liaison between the class teacher, parents and the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

Our Inclusion Mentor gives support to children with social or emotional needs.

A full SEND report can be found on this site under the SEND tab.

Links with outside agencies are made, when appropriate, to support children with specific educational, emotional, behavioural and physical needs.
