Religious Education and Collective Worship

We aim to develop a child's knowledge and understanding of themselves in relation to the diverse peoples, religions and cultures of the world.

We follow the Northumberland County Council Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education, which includes learning about Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism.

A daily act of Collective Worship gives the children the opportunity for reflection and quiet time.

Parents may withdraw their child from Religious Education lessons and Collective Worship by informing the school in writing of their wishes.
