Social Networking Sites Information

Please be aware that using Facebook and other social networking sites to post untruthful, defamatory comments about school, staff and children is classed as a `publication' and as such may be actionable in law. In such circumstances, the school will take legal advice and may take further action. Please also remember that any comments made on these sites are the views of the individuals who post them and therefore present only one side of any issue. Schools and their staff are bound by professionalism and confidentiality and therefore cannot respond to these comments in the public domain. We would therefore advise parents to take a broad view of anything they may read about the school, it's staff, pupils or parents on Facebook or other sites and if you are concerned to contact school. We will be happy to discuss any issues with you face to face.

If any parent has a concern or complaint please address it to your child's class teacher in the first instance. Most issues can be dealt with satisfactorily in this way. If you still wish to take the matter further please arrange to speak with the Headteacher who will be happy to discuss your concerns. You may also wish to refer to the school's complaints procedure, a copy of which is available on this website under the Policies tab.

If you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Bushell, Headteacher.
