Information

In this section of the website, you will find information, useful links, resources and tips regarding remote-learning, whilst your child may be isolating.

Our main sources of remote learning will be Class Dojo (Key stages 1 and 2) and Tapestry (Early Years).

We will also communicate with parents via Facebook, text message and email where appropriate.

Thank you for your support at this challenging time.

We have considered our plan for remote learning and should an Early Years bubble need to close because either a child or an adult in their bubble tests positive for Covid 19, or should your child not be able to attend school because a member of their household, or a close contact tests positive for Covid 19, we will be using Tapestry as a means of setting work, giving feedback and communicating with parents.

Parents in the Early Years are already familiar with Tapestry as an online Learning Journal, and this will just be an extension of its use.  We will still be using it to document your child’s Learning Journey, and would love it if you could like, or comment on what we have posted.

In this instance we will also use tapestry as a means of communication for any messages and questions.

We will continue attaching photographs of activities, but may also include links to video clips or other sites to support the learning we are setting. We will also provide instructions or guidance for the learning we are setting.

Once you have completed the tasks you could send us a photograph or video and let us know how your child found the activity.

In order to access tapestry, you need to have a parent account, which should already be in place, and the Tapestry Acceptable User Agreement has been signed.  If your account has expired for any reason or you can’t access it please could you let a member of the Early Years staff know and we will reset it.
